Founded in 1967, this open-air museum exhibits reconstructions of rural houses and workshops which illustrate daily life in the 18C and 19C in different parts of Hungary, with a useful map of each region and helpful explanations in English. The regions represented include Northern and Northeast Hungary, Upper and Central Tisza, the Great Plain, Southern, Central and West Transdanubia, and Kisalföld.
