At an altitude of 340m in the Mátra mountains, this mountain and bathing resort is busy summer and winter alike and very popular with the inhabitants of Budapest as well as with Austrians and Germans. A starting-point for many walks and excursions in the forest, it offers countless very well-signposted walking and skiing trails.
