Chandarnagar : Michelin's recommendations

Chandernagore (Chandarnagar) was the first trading post opened in India in the 17C by the French East India Company (1673), and developed from the fusion of three villages on the banks of the Ganges in the Bay of Bengal. The Institut Culturel de Chandernagor preserves the memory of this period of colonial history.
