Pattadakal : Michelin's recommendations

Pattadakal was one of the main centres of the Chalukaya dynasty which reigned across the Deccan in the late Middle Ages. They embellished the town with sumptuous temples (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) which incorporated the two main architectural styles from the North and South, namely the Nagara and the Dravidian.
