Observe the daily life of Bundi’s inhabitants as you stroll through the historic centre of the town. The main road, Sadar Bazaar, which heads down from the palace through the old bazaar, is lined with several ruined havelis and three small temples. As you head downhill, so the stalls and shops increase in number, with jewellers’, tailors’ and food stalls rubbing shoulders with shops selling CDs. Right at the bottom, Thatera Market, the ironmongers’ district, is recognisable by its large shelves of aluminium and hammered copper pots.
