Perfect for shopping, the narrow streets of Jodhpur’s old town, situated at the bottom of the fort, are lined with attractive houses limewashed in blue. The market stalls come to life at around 5pm and are grouped together according to the articles on sale. Jodhpur is renowned for its leatherwork (Mochi Bazaar), antiques (High Court Road) and fabric merchants (Sadar Bazaar, Tripolia Bazaar). Start your visit in Ghasmandi Road, which has the largest concentration of shops.
