Ramdevra : Michelin's recommendations

Ramdevra is one of the main pilgrimage centres in Northern Rajasthan. Worshippers of all faiths come here to honour the memory of a local 15C hero who Hindus refer to as Baba Ramdevji (or Ramdeoji) and Muslims Pir Ram Shah. This defender of the oppressed and low castes (who make up the majority of pilgrims who come to pay homage to him nowadays), who was born miraculously to a Rajput family, is sometimes considered as an avatar of Vishnu.
