Ramgarh : Michelin's recommendations

This tranquil small town extends along a main street lined by the façades of numerous havelis which overlook the shops on the ground floor. The cenotaphs with Bengali-style roofs and the chhatri of Ram Gopal Poddar, decorated with frescoes depicting the battle of the Ramayana (19C), also highlight the influence and wealth of the Poddar family who founded Ramgarh at the end of the 18C.
