Padangbai : Michelin's recommendations

Nestled in the hollow of a small bay surrounded by hills, the fishing village of Padangbai is also one of Bali's most important transit ports. From here you can take a ferry to Lombok. Unlike Candidasa, the port, although growing, has not lost its charm. It maintains a gentle and relaxed atmosphere and it looks like development will be limited by the size of the bay, despite pressure from developers. After dawn, when the fishermen return from the sea, the beach is transformed into a fish market.
