Created in 1916, Kebun Binatang is one of the oldest and largest zoos in Southeast Asia. It boasts a great variety of animals, including species endemic to Indonesia: boa constrictors, Sumatra tigers, calaos, and the famous giant lizards, Komodo Dragons, whose mealtimes are a sight to behold. Elephant rides for children. Some might prefer to avoid the bustle at the weekend, when the attraction draws in families.
