Jakarta Maritime Museum Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
Housed in a former spice warehouse dating from the 18C, the Maritime Museum has fine collections of praos and canoes, and a selection of the countless types of boats that have sailed the seas around the archipelago over the centuries. An annexe of the museum, an old lookout tower ( Menara Syahbandar) stands near Kali Besar (or Great Canal). Built in 1839, it served as both a watchtower and weather station. There is a splendid view over Sunda Kelapa from the top.
