Dysert Church, located on the cliff, dates back to the 5C. The eastern end of the church appears to date from the 14C and St Declan's Holy Well can be found nearby. On the beach below, St Declan's Stone is a glacial rock left over from the Ice Age which, according to legend, carried the saint's bell across St. Georges Channel from Wales.
