Navan Fort
: Michelin's recommendations
Navan Fort is an impressive earthwork dating from the late Bronze Age. Surrounded by sacred sites and settlements, it was the most important place in Ulster at the time and believed by many to be Emain Macha, the legendary capital referred to in the Ulster Cycle. Multimedia presentations in the Interpretative Centre provide information on Celtic and pre-Christian Ireland, focusing on finds from here and surrounding sites and how employed by the original builders.
