St Patrick's Cathedral (Anglican) Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Restored several times in the 18 and 19C centuries, the present cathedral is a sober building in Perpendicular Gothic style. The outside is decorated with a series of stone medieval grotesques and has a sundial dating from 1706. Inside, there are a number of 18C monuments, the work of Roubiliac, Rysbrack, Nollekens and Chantrey, and fragments of an 11C market cross.
