St. Patrick's Cathedral (Catholic) Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

A flight of 44 steps lead up to the high, twin-spired cathedral. Building started in Duff's Perpendicular Gothic style but the Great Famine brought the work to a halt until 1854. It was completed in 1873 by McCarthy in Decorated Gothic style. The statues in the main façade niches represent the apostles. The interior has an attractive painted vaulted ceiling, stained glass windows and mosaics on the walls.
