Ballymacarbry : Michelin's recommendations

Nestled in a small valley, Ballymacarbry has rows of pale houses that stand along the banks of the Nier. This tiny hamlet is the ideal starting point for a hike in the “valley of the yellow stone” (the name Nier Valley comes from the Gaelic “Gleann na hUidhre”): indeed, there is a festival, every October, dedicated to this activity in the region.
