Baltimore : Michelin's recommendations

This fishermen's village offers the safest anchorage on the south-west coast. The ruins of a fortified house, built by Sir Fineen O'Driscoll in the early 17C overlook the old and the new quay. On the headland (1,6 km to the south) stands «Lot's wife», a medieval lighthouse painted white, its silhouette in the shape of a rocket. The immediate surrounding area offers panoramic views.
