The Victorian interior is richly decorated with tinted glass and tiles in lively colours which are reflected in the arcaded mirrors behind the long curved marble bar. Inspired by his journeys to Spain and Italy Patrick Flanagan built this cafe like a railway buffet in 1885. Now the Crown Liquor Saloon belongs to the National Trust.
