Slieve Bloom Mountains Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

In contrast to the unremarkable scenery of central Ireland, these mountains rise among the peat bogs. Planted with pine and spruce, their highest point is the summet of Arderin (527m). They and their fine views are best discovered on foot along the Slieve Bloom Way (70km): also walkable is the route eastwards from Kinnitty to Drimmo, then north to Clonaslee. In the charming village of Kinnitty, don’t miss the cemetery with an amazing pyramid monument inspired by Cheops in Egypt.
