In the 18C, numerous ornamental trees were planted in this 350 ha park, landscaped by Humphry Repton. A nature trail leads past the Wishing Chair and over the Fairy Bridge, built in 1836 out of local stone, ending up in the Bog Garden, where an abundance of rhododendrons, azaleas and other peat-loving plants can be admired . The pathways are paved with oak logs.
