This austere Anglican building was built with hardly any ornament between 1749 and 1784. It stands on the site of the former St. John the Baptist parish church, to whom it was dedicated together with Saint Patrick of the Rock. On the neighbouring lawn, around the cemetery, there are still some remains of the walls (1319-1324). Its five gates and two towers were knocked down in the 18C.
