Palace Gardens Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

The Palace Gardens, which lead up to the rock, contain an ancient mulberry tree (1702) and hop plants descended from those used in 1759 to produce the first brown ale. This was invented by Richard Guinis, steward of the archbishop of Cashel, whose son, Arthur founded the world renowned brewery under the English name of Guinness in Dublin. The Palladian style house is now a luxury hotel
