This 240 ha marshland forest park, is divided in two and linked by a walkway. The woodland area is mostly planted with fir trees for future commercial exploitation, but includes a 10% deciduous tree population. All along the three signposted footpaths (at most 3 km) the trees and various animal habitats are labelled. Lough Sally is a protected site for waterfowl.
