Clones : Michelin's recommendations

Clones is an attractive small town situated on a hillside and renowned as a centre for fishing. In the main square, below the Anglican church built in 1822, stands a cross (from around the 10C), decorated with carvings on each side. The west side shows Daniel in the lions' den, as well as Cain, Abel, Adam and Eve. The other sides depict the Crucifixion, the Last Supper, and the Adoration of the Magi.
