Pros
Nice setting in a lovely old dining room. Good and attentive service.
Cons
The food is average, the request for jacket and tie for gentlemen is not warranted looking at the large oversized American tourists descending on the hotel. Definitely over-priced

Pros
The castle is a great location as well as the Dining room. They are trying to serve at least some different food than most of the irish restaurants.
Cons
Calling for tie and jacket is fine. But then I expect something special and not just the place itself. The service is friendly, but mostly incompetent and misplaced. The wine list looks good, but seems like newer wines are missing (or really waiting in the cellar to be ready to drink - but do not expect so) and Sommelier has no clue when asked about Bordeaux. The main courses were both overcooked. 15% Service charge fits to a place which pretends to be something that it is not at all. Recommend other restaurant in sister hotel.
