Donegal Railway Heritage Centre : Michelin's recommendations

Located in the former railway station, an exhibition retraces the history of the County Donegal Railway. From 1900 until it was closed in 1959, its steam engines and later, diesel engines, took farmers, fishermen, shoppers, school children as well as fresh produce, along the route from Derry and Strabane to the Atlantic coast. Photographs, contemporary film footage, timetables and a 1940s model of part of the railway line are on display here.
