This neo-Gothic building (1881) contains the relics of Oliver Plunkett (1625-1681), Roman Catholic Archbishop of Armagh. Among the relics are his head, the letters he wrote from Newgate prison and the gate of his cell. He was implicated in the Oates conspiracy, executed for high treason in London and canonised in 1975.
