The most elegant of Dublin's shopping streets is now a pedestrian precinct. In the 19C it was paved with pine blocks to soften the noise of the carriage wheels. Bewley's Oriental Café with its mosaic façade and stained glass windows by Henry Clarke was opened in 1927; the obsolete equipment exhibited on the upper floor give a glimpse of developments in the profession since the 1840s.

    This is Dublin's most vibrant and elegant part of the city with a beautiful park at one end (St. Stephen's Green) and Trinity College at the other end.If you can try to reserve your accommodation halfway between Dublin's airport and Dublin's city centre and check for free parking or good bus route.Enter the search words - accommodation halfway between Dublin Airport and Dublin city centre into a Google search.

    Cons

    Dublin is a great fun city and it seems to party until dawn seven nights a week (very noisy) It's nice to party but it's nice to sleep!
