A huge private collection which the Museum of Childhood displays at the bottom of a suburban garden. Teddy bears, farm animals, lead soldiers, miniature Dinky toys, Hornby trains and puppets are found alongside the many doll's houses which, although originally intended for adults, were made for children. The miniature furniture includes the work of Duncan Phyffe, the great 19C specialist in this area.
