The two chambers, Dáil Éireann (MPs) and Seanad Éireann (Senators) meet in Leinster House, which Richard Castle designed in 1745 for the Duke of Leinster and which was redeveloped in 1922. The public may visit the gallery which overlooks the lower chamber.
