The National Maritime Museum is located in the Mariners' Church (1835-1860), on the edge of Moran Park. Amongst other things, visitors can see a cannon from the Armada, a French longboat, captured during an attempted landing at Bantry Bay in 1796, the light from the Baily lighthouse still in working order, the navigation chart used by the commander of the German submarine that dropped Roger Casement at Banna Strand, as well as numerous models.
