Fethard-on-Sea
: Michelin's recommendations
This pleasant seaside town has a good sandy beach that you can walk along via a stretch of the Wexford Coastal Pathway. Seabirds frequently come and lay their eggs at the northern end of the beach. In the village is an old garage with a pretty façade covered with shells. A little further along, on the other side of the road, is the castle where the Bishops of Ferns used to live and which has a dungeon at the bottom of its crenellated tower.
