The medieval church, where Christopher Columbus is said to have prayed, is dedicated to Saint Nicholas of Myra, the patron saint of sailors. The outside is decorated with gargoyles and sculptured mouldings. Inside there is a medieval water stoup, a baptismal font and numerous tombstones. The south transept was extended to incorporate the Lynch tomb, which bears the family crest.
