Inistioge : Michelin's recommendations

Inistioge is one of the most beautiful villages in the region. It is situated on the west bank of the Nore, which is spanned by a 10-arch bridge, and which offers lovely walks and picnic areas. The forest park of Woodstock (1.5km SW of Inistioge), once the domain of the Tighe family, offers a variety of walks, an old tiled Japanese garden and a conical dovecote.
