Dursey Island Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

The island’s isolation ended in 1970, when Ireland’s only cable car began to operate across the strait. It can accommodate 6 passengers, or one cow and one farmer. Ringed by cliffs (6km), the island has one village, Kilmichael, and one road. Its main attractions are its thriving bird population and the amazing views back to the mainland.
