One of the few medieval churches in Ireland where mass is still said. This abbey was founded soon after 1226 for the Dominicans. The south transept is decorated with beautiful window tracery which dates from the early-14C. The most beautiful of these is the five-light Rosary stained-glass window. Although inscribed 1264, the alabaster Holy Trinity, near the altar, was most probably sculpted around 1400. Visitors can admire some ten 13C and 14C stone sarcophagi.
