Killala Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Killala is a quiet seaside resort overlooking Killala Bay at the mouth of the River Moy, which is partially blocked by Bartragh Island, a narrow sandbank. The main attraction of the resort is its beach of fine sand, enhanced by a variety of sports facilities. This isolated little town holds an important place in Irish history, as it was here that the French first landed during the 1798 invasion.
