With its fifteen or so thatched cottages, this fishing village still retains much of its 19C atmosphere. The Wooden House pub contains a large collection of historic photographs. The Maritime Museum in the former Guillemot lightship, moored in the harbour, contains many relics of Wexford's maritime past: old maps, a 200-year-old compass and binnacle, and a whale's backbone.
