The Regional Museum is located in what was the town hall. The building was constructed in the late-17C and is surmounted with distinctive Dutch gables. Several royal charters are displayed among the exhibits as reminders of the city's past. In the loggia a toll board is on display which has records of taxes levied on merchandise destined for the market. The great hall is dedicated to the investigation into the victims of the Lusitania sunk by the Germans during the First World War.
