St-Multose Church (Anglican)
St-Multose Church (Anglican)
: Michelin's recommendations
The original church, built around 1190, was dedicated to Kinsale's patron saint, St Multose (also known as Eltin), who lived during the 6C. The tower doorway is in 12C Irish Romanesque style. The west door, above which a statue of Saint Multose stands in a niche, was built a few years later. Inside the church there are some interesting gravestones which date back to the 16C.
