Knock : Michelin's recommendations
Up until the end of the last century, Knock was a quiet little town set on a wind-swept ridge in the heart of a blanket bog. Nowadays, the town is often teeming withpilgrims who have come to visit the shrine and basilica, especially during Knock Novena week in August when the statue of the Virgin is carried in a procession to celebrate the anniversary of the Apparition.
