Malone House : Michelin's recommendations

Malone House was built in the late 1820s and severely damaged by terrorist bombs in 1976. The plain and unpretentious exterior belies the elegant and spacious interior. The T-shaped hall leads to a stone staircase with sculpture niches flanking the tall arched window. From the upper windows there is a magnificent view over the wooded grounds which slope down to the five stone arches of an old bridge (1711).
