Ireland's only spa was developed in the 19C around three mineral water springs. In Spa Wells, sulphurous spring water is served by the glass or the bottle. The hydrotherapy centre offers baths, massages and other treatments. A 17C cross is the most precious ornament of the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Lourdes (1878).
