Designed in 1881 by W. G. Doolin, this red sandstone building with white limestone dressings is one of Ireland's most notable Norman churches in the Lombard style. Its adjacent square tower is in the style of Italian campaniles. A mosaic of Christ is set over the main west door. A wooden beam ceiling and a spacious gallery grace the interior.
