This modern medieval-style building houses a detailed exhibition of the history of the city of Derry. A brick gallery, typical of 17C houses, leads the visitor from the monastic origin of Derry in an oak wood to the current Troubles, via the 17C colony, the siege of Derry and its consequences, the 19C emigration, the division of Ireland and World War Two.
