Once a bustling port from which shiploads of emigrants sailed to the United States, Moville is today a lakeside resort on Lough Foyle. St Pius's Catholic Church (1953) is an impressive granite building with a handsome mahogany interior. Moville Green, a seafront promenade with lawns and gardens and sports facilities, extends behind the beaches and the cliffs.
