This village next to Lough Corrib is a favourite with anglers. A good base for lovely walks, for example Glann Road (to the north), which leads to Hill of Doon, from where you can take in the magnificent panoramic view over the lake and its islands. Glann Road then continues into the Western Way, a hiking path that leads you along the lakeside to Maum.
