This is the site of a monastery founded by Saint Cronan in the 7C and destroyed four times during the 12C, now marked only by the main facade of a 12C church. The carved figure above the entrance is probably Saint Cronan. North of the ruins there is a 12C cross bearing two carved figures, set at the foot of the north and south faces of the shaft. The 8C round church tower (18m high) lost its conical top in 1135.
