Carrowmore is Ireland's largest Stone Age graveyard. It consists of 60 passage graves - dolmens and cromlechs, and one cairn, which is the largest grave. The oldest dates from 3200 BC, 700 years earler than Newgrange. The Visitor's Centre houses an exhibition about Stone Age man and the excavations.
