Stradbally : Michelin's recommendations
The Main Street, lined with flowers, climbs up a steep incline to a range of small hills. In Market Place a curious building resembling a pagoda and covered with a red roof stands as a memorial to Dr William Perceval, a doctor who practised in the region for 54 years, up to his death in 1899.

Steam Museum
The Green IRL - Stradbally
The museum displays a collection of old steam-powered rollers and threshing machines. A narrow-gauge steam railway (1,6km) chugs through the woods. A rally of steam machines is held in the village in August.
